Author Portrait Shoot!
My most recent client is a local writer in need of author portraits for her new book which will be published in 2012. The session look place at Olbrich Gardens and Cafe' Zoma on the near east side. A cloudy day with the promise of rain gave way to sun in the late afternoon. Apparently miracles do happen!

Candle Light Wedding Photography!
I just completed editing the images from a recent candle light wedding. This session was a fun challenge due to low light and that that misuse of flash could easily ruin the romantic effect of the candle light. (Named flash had an unexpected and unfortunate meeting with the tiled floor during the evening).
I hope you will enjoy these images.
Stay tuned for images from this Saturday's wedding what will feature shots from the capitol building and State Street!

Kissers v2.0
The other night I headed down to the Malt House on Madison's east side to capture some shots of members of the Kissers playing their monthly Monday night acoustic show.
The Malt House, the oldest bar in Madison, lends itself very well to this kind of intimate in-the-middle-of-the-crowd show. Dark, rich woodwork and warm lighting produced some very appealing images.

Kissers!
Ryberg Photography just completed a shoot featuring Madison's favorite band, The Kissers!
The evening was a fine ballet of instruments, cables, cameras and shop lights.
Nobody was hurt.
